Adult Large: Shearling Quilt Gilet - Soft Grey

This Winter, we combined our antique patchwork quilts with luxurious off-white shearling. The faux shearling looks and feels like the real thing - made from the highest quality heathered yarn, slightly curled at the ends with a silky finish. The body is updated with a strong-cut exaggerated shoulder, deep roomy armholes, a lengthened hemline and low-slung pockets. The look is equally chic belted at the waist or worn loose and layered. The Shearling Quilt Gilet is delicious to the touch, luxurious to wear and ultimately feels like a warm, gushy hug!
 
This vest is hand-crafted from a grey-toned antique quilt dating back to the 1920's. The patchwork quilt blocks are in a tradional shoefly pattern in tones of camel, blue and lavender. The background features a delicate floral print in black, white and grey. 
 
Please note: we work exclusively with authentic antique cutter quilts that inherently have a vintage patina. Subtle wear, tear, discoloration, fading and fraying is an intentional part of the design, and adds to the overall charm, originality and uniqueness of every piece.
